Coupon Marketing

Online business is a very competitive business and getting ahead is extremely challenging. That’s why online marketing is a very lucrative business and there are many players in the field that promise to get you in front of millions of people. Of course the most known marketing strategy is pay per click advertisement model (PPC) where Google is the dominating player. There is tons of marketing models out there (like banners, contextual and email ads) but I want to talk about Coupon Ads or Coupon Marketing.
Coupon Marketing has been around for a very long time, and brick-and-mortar stores have been using coupons for ages. However; in the online world, they are not the dominating advertisement method as they should be. Coupons have many benefits for businesses and consumers. They help businesses strengthen their brand name (see Branding) and the save the customer some money for the stuff they need.
Let’s say my friend who just started a business in Nevada (see the previous post) needs some office supplies and decided to go to Office Depot. After shopping and picking up all his items he found a coupon that gives me $30 off $150 order. Since every penny matters when starting a new business, he took advantage of that offer. Notice how this coupon helped my friend save on his purchase, and most likely he would tell his friends about the deal he got. In the end, Office Depot generated more customers and my friend save some cash.
There are many more examples where coupons can come in handy. For example, if a guy is sending a valentine gift for his lady and used 1-800-Flowers.com, he could double his order when he gets 24 roses using the coupon Buy 24 Sweetheart Roses Get 24 Free.
If you wondering where do I get all these coupons info, I used CouponChief.com
